I learned how to use the dodge tool and the burn tool. The dodge tool brightens a spot where you click and the burn tool blackens it.After watching these tutorials my opinion of them changed because at first I thought that they were useless but now I learned that they are good for making scenes because I can make the sun hit certain parts but make other parts darker.

In Photoshop I liked doing the fruit assignment which you had to color in fruit. I liked this because it taught me how to make more realistic things with different styles of paint like the overlay. The overlay paint does not cover the item up that you are painting. How ever I preferred the style of the Adobe Illustrator tutorials because they were a video so it was easier to follow along to and repeat what the guy was doing in the video. I can use color to make certain objects hide in the background or make certain objects stand out. So now I have pretty much perfected using color in Photoshop. Now I have to perfect the Illustrator pen tool.
So last week I talked about vector programs such as Adobe illustrator, this week I'm going to talk about bit maps such as Adobe Photoshop. In Photoshop I find that it is easier to color realistically and use color. What I find difficult to do is making copies of pictures and putting them next to each other. But overall I prefer Photoshop because it is easier to use. I would use a bit map if you want to make a realistic game like GTA or Call of Duty, because the paint can be more realistic to make figures and less animated.
