What makes it a game is that as you play it the player gets rewarded or surprises as the game goes on. This then drives the player to continue playing. The game I like playing is GTAV because I like how you can choose what you want the character to do. Some questions the design team probably faced were how should we make the player feel free? How could we make the game more realistic? The game provided quick thinking surprises in the story made such as which way do I want to complete the heist. There are some parts of the game I don't understand like all of the random events and how they have some cars but not others. If I were on their team I would have added more cars to make the player more in touch with the real world.

So I've had to read this textbook about being a game designer. The author talks about certain principles that make a game designer successful. In order for me to become a better game designer I first need to work on making the games where more people would find them enjoyable and fun. I would also need to be more open to others ideas because I usually have a set goal in my mind of what I want to do for a game. And it might be a useful suggestion I learned that the game designers work in teams not solo. each member is given a certain task or job like producer, graphic designer, story plot guy, sound and the level creator. I learned that they all bring vital skills to the table. Myself I bring the sound and producer characteristics to the table.
