The one down side to me progressing with my skills in Unity is that the tutorials are getting harder and longer . They are also going into more depth. This is very frustrating because there are like 4 folders each with about 6, 5-30 minute videos. These are very hard to get done within a 50 minute class period as one can imagine. However like I said I am still moving through the tutorials slowly but surely. I still have like 3 whole other tutorials I have to do.

So about 2 months ago I swapped from using Monodevelop to using Visual Studios for coding. Let me just say it has been the best change for me in coding. For once the colors are not monochromatic.. no pun intended. So different things stand out more to me. This then helps me locate a problem in my code that write. It also has this auto-correct feature that fills in the endings and half of the words for me. This greatly minimizes the chance that I make simple errors. I further believe that this is why I'm able to move through following tutorials faster, because I am not missing simple errors.
Last Wednesday our school had a 40 minute long walkout to remember the kids that dies in the Florida School shooting. I got interviewed by a guy from the Herald Sun about my stance on gun control. I basically told him that we need stricter gun laws but not to ban weapons all together because the United States has never been able to ban anything. They tried Prohibition that made more people drink. Honestly I think schools should either have private security or arm teachers. The average 911 response time is 18 minutes. If a shooter can shoot 1 bullet per second you can do the math.
Over the last two weeks I've been working on another Unity tutorial. This one is walking me through how to make a top down arcade style game. It reminds me of Galaga. However I it is way more complicated than the previous roll a ball tutorial. So much that I am still in section 1 of three one video 4 of 14. It is very detailed oriented. And I really am not a detail type of person when writing I prefer to give the big picture not one corner of the picture. Below is the progress of the game I'm at so far.
